Great little place to stop!

Two elk hunters came off Saddle Mountain, having eaten nothing but granola and beef jerky for the past week and were hungry. THE BAKERY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Coffee was good and the robust breakfast burritos hit the spot. The folks who ran the place were kind and generous as well. Thanks to Glen from Lake George for letting me use his Texas coffee mug.

The owner was fantastic and very friendly. The baked goods we got were okay. I'd still go back. They had some very interesting hand crafted items - local artists.

Great little place to stop for freshly baked yums.

Stopped in for the first time to check it out. Nice little gift shop and wonderful bakery items. Had to try a chocolate turtle cookie. How do you go wrong with chocolate, ganache, caramel and pecans...yum. Plan on trying the Saturday dinner soon! Can't wait.

Fantastic food

OMG the smell of fresh baked bread as you walk in the door is amazing. Very reasonably priced considering the owner bakes everything in the shop. Will definitely be back as often as possible.

Friendly service with real home made products. They even make Dutch Uitsmijters 🙂

A wonderful bakery! Not only are the baked goods homemade and delicious, the owner is equally wonderful. Next visit, we'll try some of the other food choices, too. The gifts are very unique and the owner make a lot of the jewelry herself. I now have a pair of earrings that are the most unique I've ever seen. Definitely stop and enjoy this place!

They are always helpful and have delicious food. This last time we were in the area they saved the day. My husband had ordered food at another venue and he never received it after 2 or so hours. Right as we were leaving we decided to hit the bakery and he was able to get a brisket sandwich. He was soooooo happy.

Very cute business! The food was truly amazing and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. I ordered an egg scramble with sausage. The toast it was served with was an amazing sourdough and the sausage was just the right level of spicy.

Great bakery and food. Dana is a lovely person! Great little place to stop for a treat. Love it!

Had a fun, delicious St. Patrick's dinner here with friends. I called ahead to request a vegetarian meal and they made it happen! My friends enjoyed theirs very much as well.

Cozy little place with good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff (seems family run) and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.I had the scrambler with ham, tomato, mushrooms, peppers and cheddar cheese on sourdough, my husband had the breakfast burrito with sausage and cheddar - both were really good. There is a self-serve coffee/tea area and a cooler with drinks though you can also get a glass of water at no charge. We got some banana bread, a brownie, a chocolate chip cookie and one loaf of each kind of their sourdough (plain, garlic cheddar, and asiago rosemary) for later.Definitely would recommend stopping and will come back if we visit Guffey again.Edit: we've now eaten both the chocolate chip cookie and banana bread and they are both awesome as well. The cookie would be best with some milk or hot chocolate though.

Unique, friendly, down home. This place fits in really well with the town of Guffy. Great bread and they offer a vegan option. Biscuits and gravy was also very good. It's the sort of place you relax into and just enjoy the atmosphere and experience.
